Is Vedatricks Domains really new?
Yes — Vedatricks was launched in 2025 from Bangalore, and Domains went live in April 2026 as part of our growing stack. Our domain infrastructure runs on the same LogicBoxes back-end that powers BigRock and HostGator India — the plumbing is battle-tested, even if our brand on top of it is fresh. We chose to build with proven infrastructure so we can obsess over pricing, support and developer experience instead of reinventing DNS.
How is your pricing structured?
We charge one flat base rate per year, forever. Most registrars show ₹99 for year one and silently renew at ₹3,000 — we refuse to do that. The price you see today is the same base price at renewal next year, and every year after. 18% GST is added at checkout (per Indian tax law) — we break it out clearly, nothing hidden. No admin fees, no "privacy upgrade" upsells, no FX surprises.
Do I own the domain I register?
Yes, completely. Vedatricks is the registrar of record, but you are the registrant — the legal owner. You can transfer out any time after the initial 60-day ICANN lock period. We hand over the auth code instantly, no drama.
What happens if I don't renew in time?
We send reminders at 60, 30, 14, 7, 3, and 1 day before expiry. If you miss it, a 30-day grace period lets you renew at the normal price. After that, a 30-day redemption window lets you recover it for a fee (~₹7,500, set by ICANN). Auto-renewal is free — enable it.
Can I transfer my domain from GoDaddy / BigRock / Namecheap?
Absolutely. Unlock the domain at your current registrar, grab the auth code (EPP code), and paste it into our transfer wizard. Your unused time transfers with the domain — you don't lose a day.
Do you provide hosting and email too?
Email — yes. VMail is our in-house email platform and bundles cleanly with any domain. Hosting is not in our catalog yet. You can point your domain anywhere — Vercel, Netlify, WordPress, Shopify — or work with our engineering team for a custom build via Vedatricks Web Development.
Is WHOIS privacy really free?
Yes, for every TLD that permits it. Your name, email, phone, and address are replaced with our privacy service contact. You can disable it anytime. Some country-code TLDs (like .in registrant details) have regulatory exceptions we'll explain during checkout.
